Terms and Conditions of Animal Free Science
Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of Animal Free Science. Animal Free Science will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Animal Free Science.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
Animal Free Science will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.
Animal Free Science will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Animal Free Science.
Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Animal Free Science.
Animal Free Science will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Animal Free Science will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
Animal Free Science will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders’ fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Animal Free Science.
In order to be able to process your donation we collect only personal data which is strictly necessary or you provided to us on your own basis. For more details concerning the data we collect we kindly refer to our privacy policy.
General Terms and Conditions for Donors
Animal Free Science is a project coordinated by Animal Rights. You donate to Animal Rights as the receiving party.
Animal Rights is a foundation in the Netherlands and a non-profit association (vzw) in Belgium. The foundation was founded in 2009 as an action group against animal testing. The non-profit organisation was founded in Belgium in 2015.
As a donor of Animal Rights, you can choose to make a one-off donation, or to support it on a recurrent basis.
In case you choose for a recurrent donation, it is easy to cancel or change your sponsorship. Send an e-mail to info@animalfreescience.org with your details and your question. You can also call our telephone number. When you cancel, we will remove your details from the member administration.
In case you choose for a one-time donation, there is no obligation on your part. You don’t have to do anything.
For cost and environmental reasons, Animal Rights chooses not to send a membership magazine by post. We will keep you informed via our digital newsletter. In addition, the latest news is also on our website, Facebook and Twitter account.
